About Our Pastor

Pastor Fred Zickefoose is honored to serve as the pastor of Shiloh Methodist Church. Born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he married his high school sweetheart, Joyce, in 1992. Together, they have two grown sons—Josh and John—and are proud grandparents to five wonderful grandchildren: Ezra, Tenley, Zander, Zoey, and Talia.

Fred’s path to ministry was not something he originally envisioned. He and Joyce were actively involved in their home church—leading the youth group and regularly ministering in local nursing homes. It wasn’t until someone pointed out a calling in him that he hadn’t seen in himself that the Holy Spirit began to stir a new direction. That moment marked the beginning of his journey into pastoral ministry.

Since 2012, Pastor Fred has served several congregations in Western Pennsylvania, each one playing a unique role in shaping his ministry and deepening his faith. In 2025, he followed the Lord’s leading to Shiloh Methodist Church, where he now serves a warm, welcoming, and Christ-centered community.

Pastor Fred is passionate about walking alongside others in their faith journey and is committed to Biblical teaching, spiritual growth, and cultivating a church where everyone feels like family. Whether you’re new to church or looking for a place to call home, you’re welcome at Shiloh.
